7.2.5 STRETCH WINDOW
The STRETCH WINDOW command is used to stretch a rectangular area of the
drawing. The command is a combination of two actions, entities inside the
entered window are moved, while entities that cross the window are
stretched.
COMMAND FORMAT
#STRETCH WINDOW :Win x1 x2 :Loc x3 x4 :Win ...
The locations 'x1'and 'x2' define the area of a window on the drawing.
Locations 'x3' and 'x4' define the stretch vector.
All entities that are completely inside the window area are moved through
the vector defined by the locations 'x3' and 'x4'. Any line, string,
polygon, xhatch polygon or dimension entity that crosses the window is
stretched; any point or vertice of one of these entities that lies inside
the window is moved through the stretch vector, any point or vertice that
lies outside the window is left in its original position. ( See fig. 7.25
and 7.26 ).
